1) Public Profiles — Read This First

ConnectTau is a public profile publishing platform.

Most information you add to your profile is intended to be public and viewable by anyone who visits your profile link or scans/taps your NFC card.

  • Public information may be viewed, copied, shared, saved, screen-captured, or redistributed by others
  • Public profiles may be indexed by search engines and appear in search results
  • Even if you later edit or delete information, third parties may retain cached, archived, or copied versions outside of our control

You control what you publish. Do not include sensitive personal information in your public profile, including (but not limited to) government identification numbers, financial account information, private residential addresses, or any information you do not want publicly available.
